Bayou Clay Works

Bayou Clay Works is the ceramics business created by Jason Courson to share his handmade artwork with the world. Each piece is unique, from the vessel form to the one of a kind glaze patterns. If you do’t see what you are looking for, remember that I do accept commissions, and I am always working on something new! Turn around time on commissions is about 3-4 weeks. Rushed production may be possible for a fee, depending on my schedule. If you have a question or want a customer piece, please send an email to Jason at [email protected] today!

Crawfish are iconic in the Southeastern United States. From the Cypress Swamps of Alabama, to the Bayous of Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas, everyone gets excited when Crawfish season rolls around each year. When you see a table full of fresh boiled crawfish, potatoes, sausage and corn laid out before you, you know you are in for a good time!

To celebrate this tasty little critters, I have created a series of serving bowls, platters, gumbo bowls, tumblers, mugs, platters and more, so that you have the chance to bring a little piece of the Bayou home to you. These pieces also make excellent gifts for that hard-to-buy-for Bayou man or woman in your life!

You can shop my existing inventory online, or email me with your needs for specific pieces. I do offer 4, 8 and 12 piece settings by order. Worldwide shipping is available.

Crawfish may not be the only style I do, but it is certainly one of my favorites! I have been playing Cajun fiddle and accordion for over 25 years, and catching fish from the bayous for longer than that. Each of these pieces are made with real Love and Authenticity.

Come on down and see how we do things on the Bayou, and always remember to let the good times roll!
